- I have had some experience with zoom before. My zoom 14.4 had software
- compression so only comit works best with it because it was designed for the
- modem.

- I think that perhaps the modem that you are using may also have software
- enabled compression as apposed to hardware compression. Also try playing with
- your init string as well as your windows comm.drv as your software comit may
- have changed your comm driver to another driver that is not compatable with
- your internet software.

- So comit will work fine with the modem but no other. You might want to check
- out the zoom bullen board for further help.
